Refunds: All payments are final. No refunds are given on any payment made toward the services and products we offer including but not limited to wedding ceremonies, photo/video media packages, beauty services, receptions and bouquets. We do however offer you a service credit that expires 4 months after the original wedding date and time booked for your ceremony at our chapel. You may use the full value of the dollar amount paid towards another date within that 4 month period in case you have a scheduling conflict or an emergency that forces you to postpone the wedding. Service credits can be applied to the following if you plan to marry outside of our chapel: Minister & Photography services only.
Balances Due: Balances for services ordered are due 3 weeks before your ceremony day. I authorize Albertson Wedding Chapel to charge my debit or credit card for agreed upon purchases. I understand that my card information will be saved on file for future transactions on my account.
Rescheduling and Date changes: To reschedule, you must inform us of any change of date/ time at least 7 days prior to your ceremony date in writing. If available we can change your ceremony date to your new date. All services ordered are not cancellable. Clients may be responsible for full or partial fees for any services ordered. The first rescheduling is free. You may be charged a $50 fee for each additional change of date.
Limitation of Liability: We, the clients, agree to not hold Albertson Wedding Chapel or it’s owners responsible for any injuries incurred by clients or their guests while attending a wedding here. Clients agree that Albertson Wedding Chapel shall not be liable for any claims for emotional distress, mental anguish, consequential damages, loss of WI-FI signal, electricity outages, force majeure, lost profit, loss of enjoyment, lost revenues, replacement costs, or punitive damages arising from any negligent act or omission on the part of any person (s) from Albertson Wedding Chapel including damaged or “lost” wedding photos or video due to any technological issue such as a corrupted memory card or hard drive. Those cases are extremely rare – 1 in 2000. If this occurs, the couple will be entitled to a refund of the services that were not completed such as the “lost” video or photos. However, the couple will not be entitled to any other refund such as the ceremony fee or any other services rendered and completed.
Photo/Video: The turnaround time is approximately 2-4 weeks. You will be receiving an email or text for your personal link to download all of your high resolution digital images from smugmug.com. Please download the images immediately. We only save your images for 1 month. FYI: Prints are not included in the photo packages. You may purchase prints from the same smug mug gallery we send you.
Certificates of Marriage: On the wedding day we will give you a photo copy of your marriage license. We send the original marriage license to the Los Angeles Registrar Recorder County Clerk for filing and processing. The county clerk takes approximately 6-8 weeks to record your license and mail you your marriage certificate to the address you have provided on your marriage license application.
Kids: For their safety, All children must be chaperoned by a parent or friend at all times. For their safety we do not allow running, jumping, or playing in the Albertson Wedding Chapel. We do not allow flower petals in our chapel. Any damages and/or broken fixtures incurred during the use of the AWC space will be addressed accordingly and are subject to a damages charge.
Arrival: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. Guests can arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. If you are late, your ceremony may be cut short or may have to be rescheduled.
Parking: Free parking in our shared lot is limited to a first come first served basis. Please tell guests to carpool, Uber/Lyft. Other options include a Party Limo/Van. There is street parking but please read all the posted signs. Paid parking is available at Lassen’s market on 8th and La brea.
Bridal Room: The Bridal room is available for you to use for 30 minutes before your ceremony start time. *You must check out of the Bridal room before your ceremony starts, just like checking out of a hotel room. We are not responsible for any items stolen or left in the Bridal room, so please appoint a contact person to keep your belongings with them before the start of your ceremony. If you do not have anyone to appoint please advise a coordinator and we will take your belongings in to the main chapel.
